Family Fun Day
Held on the 4th of July, this annual event has been going on for over 20 years at Sunset Park! Start off the day with the Recycled Float Race and watch participants race their floats made out of recyclable material around Lake Potter. Will they sink or float? Races begin at 9 a.m.
After the races we celebrate Independence Day with some traditional family fun from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Come to the Children’s Fun Zone located under the large picnic shelter for inflatables, live entertainment, crafts, food, and fun games including our annual water balloon fight!
